Calling all buddies!!!! I'm looking for a Pilates DVD I can use at home. It needs to be beginner level as I am truly a beginner. I bought a couple of books and they are good but it is difficult to keep picking the book up in between moves ... especially when theoretically they are supposed to move one to another!! I'd appreciate any input! THANKS!!

I agree, Windsor Pilates is very good and they have a beginner one which I recommend highly before jumping into the regular one. You can order it online. Good luck. I just might pull mine out tomorrow and do them. :-)

Also, I used to buy books and they are a waste of money, there is nothing like working out with a trainer, one on one for results. The DVD's they have out now are so good. :-)

Its not Pilates but the YOU on Diet site used to have several workouts that could be done at home without weights or equipment. They were available on their website for download. You might check it out.

ooohhh, pilates! I have been considering something of that nature to add a little spice to the weeks' workouts. You'll have to let me know how that flows~

I have a dvd I bought at wal-mart for dirt cheap it is Pilates For Any Body. It has different levels for where ever you are in your workout and pilates knowledge. It is great and my kids even enjoy doing it with me. I use it at home after my I use my pilates machine and I love it.

Okay, I was going to suggest Mari Windsor's Pilates DVDs. People beat me to the punch. My sister-in-law bought me some for Christmas a few years ago. I do them now every once in a while for a change of pace. They still make me sore to this day. When I used to do them on a consistent basis though, I noticed the difference...and so did my hubby.
