I woke up famished this morning!! I did eat 1400 or so calories yesterday, even had a yogurt fairly late in the evening. Who knows? Today is another day, another opportunity to "shine" as my mother would tell me. Perhaps I'll have something more salient to say after coffee!!! LOL!! Have a great day!!

Update ... got on the elliptical and couldn't stop!! LOL!! I can be rather obsessive ... if you haven't yet noticed. I was committed to an hour ... no problem ... but then I started to feel pretty good and I wanted an even number of calories ... like 1000 sounded good so I kept going and going and going!! Anyway ... almost got through an entire movie. It is so nice though on the weekends to have the option to spend more time exercising. I just can't make myself do extra on work days ... not as young as I used to be!! So ... now I'm well exercised and it's time to hunt for lunch!!
204.2 lb Lost so far: 34.8 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

You are doing great. Over an hour on the Elliptical. I am impressed and pleased at the same time. You are sticking to your plan. One step at a time. I am with you all the way.

wow! that is amazing! you did excellent :] It really is nice to just 'veg' out when you get a nice long work out on the weekends. Sometimes I get on the elliptical with a good CD or Book, and its almost more like relaxing than a work out. I know exactly how that is though- I can be just as obsessive on the treadmill. "Oh, If i can just to one more mile" or "five more minutes" or "round up to the next hundred calories!" haha Sometimes we get carried away, but i think its alright in this case, right? Enjoy an easy sunday tomorrow :]

I've known for a LONG time that my body needs regular aerobic exercise to maintain a healthy weight. Plus, I sleep better, have more energy, and am generally feel better overall ... even it I don't actually feel like exercising on a particular day. I did another hour and 14 minutes today and burned another 1000 calories ... finished up Moonstruck and started another movie. I have a little TV/DVD player where my elliptical machine lives and I distract myself with mindless entertainment while I work out. Sometimes I listen to music, it just depends on my mood. It works for me. During the work week I have a routine. I get up, put on my exercise clothes, put the coffee on and hop on the machine for 34 minutes. I don't think about it I just do it. It does mean getting up a little earlier but I like getting up early. If I waited until after work I would probably never do it ... I'm too tired at the end of the day. I find it wakes me up and even if I'm feeling sluggish, headachey, whatever I almost always feel better when I am finished working out. When I gain weight I am not exercising. DUH. Do you think I'll be able to remember this, this time????? Geesh. Anyway, thanks for the kudos ... as always they are MUCH appreciated. I feel so fortunate to have buddies across the country cheering me on!!!
