I am at a scrapbooking weekend. Everyone is amazed that I'm not eating their yummy food and snacks. I keep getting suggestions that I splurge a little and have some treats.. that I can start back up tomorrow. Ah, not happening. I'm in this for the long haul.

I am very proud that I have willpower this weekend! :)

Good for you! The ones who want you to go ahead and have 1 litle splurge are NOT the ones who have to deal with the aftermath.

Good girl! Your friends mean well... in their minds not having treats is like a punishment, when in reality its a reward! When I started thinking of my diet as a way to love myself, it changed my mindset. I don't want to eat garbage because that would be mean to my body. Obviously we will have treats occasionally, nut good treats! You are doing great!

Ooh, plus, you are on Atkins right? You can't just throw carbs at your body now or it will store them all. That's why once you are done you have to slowly, carefully add in carbs over a long period....

Good for you, girlie. I have a friend who means well. She has a caretaker personality and she is a share-er. But the downfall of that is that she is a bane to my lifestyle changes. She doesn't see how one little splurge can hurt anything, but she doesn't consider that she asks me to splurge just about every freaking time I see her (which is about 4 days a week).
