I can't believe I actually lost. I was SURE I would show a gain. It wasn't much, but at this point, I'll take any loss.
222.6 lb Lost so far: 56.4 lb.    Still to go: 22.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I'm not surprised! I didn't want to say anything and jinx it, but I was feeling that you would lose weight :). I think sometimes when life happens and we go astray from our usual eating habits, we think "oh what have I done? Surely I will gain weight from this." but I have been reading your journal and you have consistently written about showing restraint and watching portions if nothing else. And really that's sometimes all you have to do. If you went off the deepend and ate everything in sight, that would be a different story. But I think you handled it all very well. Proud of you!! Congrats!

Thank you both! I guess I really have changed my mind set. I felt like I ate WAY to much, even if it was all healthy. I didn't feel "guilty" about it. I was just sure I would have a gain this week and was disappointed. I'm so glad I was wrong. Now I just have to get back to my normal eating habits.

Way to go Jo!!! Every small loss adds up big in the end, at least thats what I keep telling myself with my tiny losses lol

Pixi, the way I see it is, ANY loss is a good loss. I'm in this for the long haul. They'll all add up, as you say!
