Here we go.. I fell off the wagon. BIG TIME! Too much stress, too many birthdays, too much beer. Not enough activity or will power.

Luckily, it didn't keep me from my main goal, which was to be able to ride the rides at Cedar Point! I am happy to say that I was able to ride every ride that my daughter wanted to this weekend. Yay me! No walk of shame for me! The ride operator for The Power Tower even told me that if I fit in it, I should have no trouble fitting in any ride in the park. I fit great!

It woke my hubby up as well. He is joining me on the diet train today. Hw had to take the walk of shame way too many times Saturday, and it really got to him. I haven't been able to talk him into FatSecret yet, but we will get there!

So here is my updated weigh in. I hate it, but it is what it is. If this is the worst setback that I have had since December 13, then I am still way ahead of the game! Here is too the next 6 months! This time as a couple!

Inayat, YAY for no walk of shame for you! That in and of itself is a big accomplishment! And as far as your hubby joining you on your journey, I can tell you it's a heckuva lot easier to walk this path WITH someone! I have now done a couple major things in the past couple of years with my partner Nick224. A year and a half ago we quit smoking together, and now we're losing weight together. I am quite sure I would not be on this lifestyle path now if it weren't for his support. I have tried so many times in the past to do this and have failed every time. We're doing it for each other, we are constantly cheerleading for each other and holding each other accountable. It's a lot harder to "cheat" when you have someone right by your side watching your behaviors. Best of luck to you with your new motivation! You can do this!

If it helps you at all, I attribute 75% of my success (69 pounds in 9 months) to tracking my food here. I either use the app on my Smart Phone and I keep this website open on my PC 24/.7. Tracking your food keeps you accountable, prevents those "just one bite" temptations (because how are you going to log "just one bite" of anything???) and allows you to see what a colossal waste of calories alcohol is. I hope this helps you get back on track and kudos for the courage to come back, both of you!
