Up a pound today. However, I think it is water retention. My fingers feel swollen and I had several hot flashes (oh joy!) last night ... so perhaps a bit of a hormonal fluctuation going on. So, it is what it is and I don't really believe it means much of anything as I exercised and ate reasonably. Still not happy to see it ... but I know I must get used to fluctuations ... they are a normal part of life. It is storming here ... warmed up to 36 F but snowing like crazy. Ah ... March in North Idaho.
209.2 lb Lost so far: 29.8 lb.    Still to go: 0.2 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

You may have gone up a pound but your overall chart is fabulous! Way better than mine. Besides, you know your body just had to give you a bit of a tease before hitting that halfway point. I bet you will hit the mark within the next 3 days. ;)

Yes, of course, totally normal. That pound should be gone in a couple of days. Keep up the good work!

Thanks!! Munestar I hope you are right!! I am sooooo close to "half-way" and also soooooo close to being under 200 ... I can hardly stand it!! I feel good though and at least this time I know not to get my underwear all in a bunch ... tee hee. 29.8 lbs ain't bad for 8 weeks!!!

30 lbs in 8 weeks . . . Amazing work! And thanks BTW for your encouragement. I get hot flashes and days of water retention too. As you say par course for the hormones.

Facingforward ... UGH ... the hot flashes are sooooo annoying!! I'll go a while with none and then BAM ... they are back. My poor husband ... it's the middle of winter and I'm turning on the fan in the bedroom at night ... it's a wonder he doesn't have frostbite!!!! Mine only seem to come in the night ... not sure that's a good thing or not but it's what my body does. What do they say??? Oh yea ... this too shall pass!!! LOL!! Hang int there ...

30lbs in 8 weeks is awesome, a great way to look at it too. Rather than I went up a pound you can keep saying I lost 30lbs in 8 weeks!! On days when I hit a weight increase or plateau I constantly remind myself how much I lost overall. Seems to help. Keep up the great work.
