Found this website from the Atkins community members. In week 4 of my Atkins adventure and my weight has stalled. Lost 6 pounds so far but expected a more consistant weight loss. Was advised to track my food intake to see if I should change my diet. Wish me luck...

tracking does help. It's amazing what you put in your mouth without even realizing! Welcome and Good Luck!

Also, I've heard that if you eat the Atkin's products they can tend to stall you out because of the "sugar alcohols" in them.

Good luck!! I agree with CalynLZ, it doesn't matter which diet you follow, tracking helps a lot. Just be honest with yourself and keep track of everything. I love this site for tracking, it has been great. Good luck!!

There are phone apps via Fatsecret and others that help with tracking then you don't have to be in front of your computer to do it! Tracking makes all the difference because you realize how many calories everything is and which are really worth it! Good luck!

I eat only 1-2 Atkins products a day. I keep the Splenda to a minimum and try to drink lots of seltzer water. I am not a big water fan. After tracking my meals yesterday I was surprised to find I was over 30g net carbs a day. Someone said I need to change my settings to net carbs. I thought I did well yesterday. Where do I change my settings? Getting discouraged in week 4. The scale is not moving!!!!!!!!!!! UGH

You have net carbs of 40 plus, which is you are in induction phase is 20 grams too high. The noodles in the soup are a no-no. You need to keep foods whole as much as possible. Try to get your carbs (I believe they say 15 grams) in green leafy veggies, and the rest in protein. I started the plan on Monday, and have tried to keep my net carbs at around 20. Haven't weighed in to see yet. Check out my food diary and see if that helps!
