Insomnia strikes again. I was thinking of a song by Lyle Lovette yesterday. I thought I'd share the lyrics with you minus the chorus. The song is "Here I am." I hope you're ready for some deep thinking. I hope this doesn't turn into the ultimate jumble.***

I'm the guy who sits next to you, And reads the newspaper over your shoulder;
Wait. Don't turn the page, I'm not finished, Life is so uncertain;

Given that true intellectual and emotional compatibility are at the very least difficult if not impossible to come by;
We could always opt for the more temporal gratification of sheer physical attraction;
That wouldn't make you a shallow person, Would it?;

If Ford is to Chevrolet, What Dodge is to Chrysler;
What Corn Flakes are to Post Toasties;
What the clear blue sky is to the deep blue sea;
What Hank Williams is to Neil Armstrong;
Can you doubt we were made for each other?

Look, I understand too little too late;
I realize there are things you say and do, You can never take back;
But what would you be if you didn't even try, You have to try;
So after a lot of thought, I'd like to reconsider;
Please, If it's not too late, could you make it a... cheeseburger?

Good to know. I'm going to try heading off to bed again pretty soon. I read about a guy in Canada who requires a full hour of sleep each night. He holds down to jobs and have countless hobbies. I'm not sure if that's a blessing or not. It would be an interesting life. Have a nap - up for the day. Have a nap - up for the day. I wonder what sleeping in is like for him. :|

No insomnia for me last night - yay. I always sleep best those nights after getting a good deep tissue massage. Have you ever tried one?

I woke at 3am and had a really hard time getting back to sleep last night. Maybe the phase of the moon :-) Btw, I adore Lyle Lovett! We went and saw him at Wolf Trap a couple of summers ago.

Geez, Bella. I read 'tongue' instead of 'tissue'. I find myself blushing. Darlene, I would kill (not really) to see Lyle live. If I had my dream concert involving Lyle, it would be him, Francine (one of his regular travel partners) and Randy Newman. Ticket price would be no consideration.
