I'm enjoying a "long weekend" taking today, Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tues off work. It was very nice not to wake to the alarm today. Of course I have a couple of built in alarms, two Dobermans who think I should take them outside to do their business in the wee hours of the morning. I also think they enjoy sleeping more when they know one or more of their humans is awake!! Still, it was nice not to rush off to work this morning.

Today I'm an even 209 ... 2 lbs from "half-way" ... I'm reaching the weight range I start to really feel good in. I always feel silly saying I feel good at this weight but I do. I'm certainly not thin but I am much leaner, move easier, and feel more attractive. However, this is not where I want to stop. I want 200 to be my "red uh-oh", red flag, better get your act together quickly little girl marker. I put my goal as 175, that is well under 200. The reality is I can only remember weighing 175 once in my life ... for a brief moment, 20 years ago when I got married!! I was down to 189 5 years ago and maintained that a little longer. So, I'm not sure where my body will feel comfortable settling into a maintenance weight. I've just always wanted to be able to get back to 175. The ridiculous thing is that at 175 my BMI is still "overweight" ... I would have to weigh 173 for it to be "normal." I'm just not sure it is realistic for me ... but I imagine I will know as I arrive there.

Well ... I certainly have blathered on and on this morning!! See what happens when I have extra time on my hands??? I hope everyone has a great day and can acknowledge progress in your journeys to having healthy bodies!!
