I have been trying to make the switch to Low Carb eating without keeping track of statistics (%carb to %protein to %fat). I am losing weight steadily, but I seem to surge up (gain) when I add a new food or new recipe is sampled. So, I think I need to know what is going into my mouth now, even with the steady weight loss, to see how what I put into my mouth affects how my body processes it. Didn't really want to track so closely (feels like work) to change my lifestyle, but maybe I will be more in tune to my body if I track my food intake more closely. Hope I can keep it up long enough to learn something to help me move up the O.W.L. ladder more easily.
