Goodmorning my soulmate, friends, buddies and listeners,

Yep, just as expected a weight-gain... Lets just say it was a little disappointing, i did not know i was THAT dehydrated yesterday, increase of 0.8 Kg. I do however understand my body's protest better now... Sorry body, won't happen again, i will drink water all day long now!

That being said i am still bussy with my battle plan for this Easter, i am very sorry for my son and hubbie that the pre-Easter in this house is hardly tangible, but luckily my son gets a lot of Easterisch things on his Katholic school. I am already resolving myself to steer clear of the salmon salade made by my mother-in-law. You might say hmmm, salmon salad, that sound good and salmon is healthy, lettuce is healthy.... true true true, but the salad of my mother-in-law is 50% pure fullfat mayonaise... and sorry but that should not be in ANY diet even if you are tying to gain weight... (lol) So what am i going to eat at the Easterparty? i know the foods they are going to serve, they always eat "fondue". For people who don't know what that is: it is basically a big bowl of boiling fat on the middle of the table and you can put your own little piece of meat in it... side dishes are also always the same: chocolatepeanuts, bread, satesauce, etc etc.... lets just make it easy to translate: fat, fat, fat... I will have to plan in advance what i am going to take from the table, maybe even bringing food in my purse secretly. I will put some of their meat and mayo on my plate and shuffle it around my plate so it will look like i ate... hmm, i will think about this some more, i'll give you all my FULL battleplan tomorrow!

for now: i am stocking up on salmon these days so i do not have a craving for the salmon taste... all part of the bigger battleplan! So who is with me this Easter!

YES WE CAN!!!!

My favorite saying is "if you are not planning for success then you are planning for failure". It is clear dear Maud that you are planning to win and win in a big way so I stand here and salute you and admire you. I look forward to the results.

Your comment about sneaking food into an Easter dinner in your purse cracked me up! Yet, I think it is a great plan to avoid the fatty foods you mentioned. Let us know how it goes.

The Salmon Salad sounds deadly. I'd stick with hard boiled eggs from the Easter Eggs hunt! LOL.

I personally would not hide that I wanted healthier food options. I would bring a dish that is better for everyone and see how many people are of a like mind. You may be surprised.

I made a turkey once with dressing when my MIL came for visit at my house. The next holiday when I went to her house she asked me to make my dressing (home made)in her bird. You never know...this is a woman that doesn't like me...I am not good enough for her son.

Got ya beat...my mother is the passive aggressive weight loss sabotaging QUEEN...she is making lasagna for Easter......made with 6 layers of noodles and 6 layers of Velvetta cheese! My hubby calls it "heart attack on a plate".

Will be reasonably good but not going to be real concerned, back on track on Monday... lasagna with Velveeta?? That's a new one on me.

Yea..we're not Italian...she's been making it that way for years. Its super rich and super fattening. And salty from all that Velvetta lol

Hmm, I've never heard of Velveeta lasagna...

I'm sorry I don't think I would be able to eat Velveeta lasagna. I'm also not Italian.
