I think I did quite well today, my first day on my new diet. I did notice that I was thinking about food all day which makes you hungry. Right now I am eating an apple where I would normally have biscuits so not too bad! Tomorrow is a big test for me as we will be going to the in-laws for a full roast dinner, loads of veg which is good, but my mother-in-law always uses butter on her veg. There will be possibly a pasta starter or Italian macaroni cheese, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes etc.. She usually makes about 3 puddings also, so a big test. I won't be able to record my calorie intake for tomorrow but I will try to be good!

Why don't you eat a meal of your choice before you go to your inlaws. Feel very close to satisfied before you arrive & you'll then be able to honestly say that you are not very hungry. Then be VERY selective in what you choose to eat, complimenting you mother-in-law all the while. YOU are in control of what you eat...not her. Focus on the health benefits & happiness that you will enjoy once you reach your target weight.

Good idea. Tomorrow we are gong to my partners auntie's house so I usually come home hungry!! I will try to have my lunch before I go to the in-laws next time!!
