176.0 lb Lost so far: 2.8 lb.    Still to go: 8.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

So wait, let me see if I am understanding this correctly. You stayed at the same weight for, what...5 days? Then overnight, for no reason at all, you put on 2.5 pounds? No explanation? Salt? Prunes? Come, on, I need information here!

You think I posted this because I have answers? lol!!! Seriously. No idea. I'll have to see what tomorrow brings. I'm sure it must be an overnight build of 2.5 pounds of muscle though. ROFL

I know the HEART is *treacherous*(Jer 17:9) but does the BODY "cheat,lie,make us whine & then laugh"? Come on NM,the body responds to OUR direction. It follows where we lead . Where's the man that says :So many people want results but aren't willing to do what it takes to get those results? (or something like that.) Don't shrug off responsibility! Be hard on yourself, as you would any of us , because of your intense desire to see yourself succeed in reaching & maintaining your goals. Look *honestly* for what's going on . Don't let all your hard work go down the drain. You've worked so hard to get to where you are!

LOL NM. I’m getting way too much enjoyment from the satire in your posts these days. You seemed pretty sure of yourself when your destination was weight loss. Now that you’re trying to go the opposite direction, I can see how the path isn’t so straight forward and worn. I know the type of person you are and I have no doubt that you will get it all figured out. I’m willing to bet that this must be driving you crazy, to just be living for the day with very little ability to plan and calculate. I do hope last night’s “2.5 lbs of muscle gain” calculation somehow works out to be true!

Bella. :) I went off weight loss at 12% body fat. I'm now teetering on the edge of 11%. That's 165 to 176 at a 1 % drop if body fat? Am I dreaming? I know a lot of it is water, but I'm not exactly upset. It's just confusing is all. --- Mya... I do take responsibility, and I do work hard and know exactly what I'm doing. How's your diet going? Haven't talked to you in a while. --- Brent. :) You know it's not a muscle. (In my dreams.) If there's two or three pounds there, I'd be beyond ecstatic. It may be, but if it is, a lot of it is old tissue recovery. --- Purp. You may have nailed it. Big meal with a soya sauce base. :) Now I feel better.

LOL, I have been busy self-sabatoging my goals,& I certainly dont want my friends doing that to themselves. :D But I recognized the behavior thru an article mentioned by a buddy & jumped right on taking care of the matter,:D I am happy to say! On hows things going with me...well I'm still not completely sure as to what I'm doing but I continue to learn something I can apply to myself & circumstances every week in order to help me progress toward my goal or at least help get me back on track :D I like learning & improving myself! OH,BTW,I am trying to remove the goal to reach my ideal weight target by a certain date since I have come to the realization that it's only THRU' the time it takes me to get to the ideal target weight that I will gain the qualities/traits/abilities needed in order to maintain that weight.However,easier said than done.Old habits are hard to break.
