So today was kind of a crap day to say the least. I woke up so sick vomiting and light headed and had to get to work at 630 to set up to OR for surgery this morning. I make it through the morning and get scrubbed in for surgery and make it through the first 2 hours of the aug/masto we are doing. With 30 minutes left my sick body can no longer take it and as I am in the middle of trying to cut a suture I start to get extremely hot and am sweating profusely and start to black out. I had to break scrub and run out of the OR to ensure I didn't pass out on our patient. Needless to say today sucked. I am finally home on the couch and can take tomorrow off to recoup since we don't have any surgeries but my body always has a way of saying no to dropping pounds when I am sick and I try on wedding gowns on Friday... let's hope this time is different and I can get a little more weight off before then. :/

Try to get some rest in as much as you can even with a crazy schedule, the body can do some amazing work while sleeping. Good luck!
