I survived the maple syrup festival. It was a chilly day, very windy and cloudy. And my poor little guy didn't want to put his snowpants on so he complained about being cold. My mom and I just keep moving him until we got to the toy tractor exhibit in one of the buildings and then he was better. He warmed up, had some lunch and saw his favourite things, toy tractors!! It was too cold to go out to see the sugar bush, but we did have some pancakes and syrup. I bought some homebaked buns and butter tarts from some Mennonites. It was suppose to be for my husband but I tried one tart on Saturday evening. Very good! So good that I couldn't resist yesterday and ate 2 more!! Plus I had a hankering for french toast and syrup. Way over my RDI for the last 2 days. Oh, but I guess we need a little fun some times. Well, it's Monday, back at eating better and geting out for runs which is what I'm doing today!!

Onwards and upwards!!

Sounds like a good time, and good food. I didn't do the best over the weekend either, but we'll do better this week.

Sounds like you still had fun in spite of the weather. Always makes for a good day when time is spent with family. I had a yummy day yesterday. Went put to eat Mexican with the family and had dinner at church. Also had ice cream twice. :/ I wish there was a button on the food diary that said too much of everything. I never worry about trying to determine what I ate those days. I do so well all the other time that I don't fret about it as long as it doesn't happen too often
