Grrr! My weight is the same again! I can't seem to get below 273 lbs! I got a diet menu from my new dietician. I bought a bunch of groceries that I need for the recipes. Saturday night's dinner was the 1st one on the plan. Hubby liked the sauteed Swiss chard, but I know he likes Swiss chard so no big revelation there. He didn't like the cherry & sweet red pepper topping for the baked chicken. This was quite disappointing since I paid good $ for frozen cherries & bottled roasted red peppers. I knew this was probably too exotic for his country boy appetite, so will try to find a low carb / cal recipe for chicken with a different fruity topping, probably something with apples, since they're cheap & we both like them. Sunday's supper was not on the diet menu, just Hillshire Fms smoked sausage, baked beans & cottage cheese. I'll probably have to modify some other recipes on the menu too, but the next one is a nachos-type, so I think hubby will be fine with that one. Live & learn, I guess. Right now I would be very happy with ANY weight loss. Hoping scale reading will be better next Sunday.

That is the problem with preplanned recipe meals... some are fabulous, some, not so great! I hope you find some recipes you love!

Don't fret the weight will come off, maybe try not to cook so complex meals. Just keep it simple until the weight starts to move for you. Lean proteins and lots of veggies for your complex carbs and you'll see the scale move :) Your body is just adjusting to the new foods you're putting into it. We didn't get this way over night so we can't expect to lose the weight over night too, although that would be fabulous!!! Keep up the great work!
