Well today really sucks. I weighed in and I am up to 402.4 so I gained weight instead of lose. I also didn't get to have my zumba class cuz I had to take my nephew to his doctor appt second time this week. I haven't been very motivated cuz I am spending too much time in the vehicle. I did climb our hill here at the house twice and did some digging in my garden with a shovel. I just been doing so good so now it is time to readjust my workout. well hopefully next week will be better

Could be water weight or muscle gain so don't be discouraged. Whenever my scale goes up I envision more muscle on my body which will burn the fat away even quicker.

Well I am very proud of you for still doing something. You haven't given up and that is very important. Things will get better soon, just take a deep breathe and know that we are here for you no matter what.

They say to focus less on the scale and more on how your clothes fit, and how you feel.. I can literally weigh 5lbs different in a day!

Cyd, I totally agree with everyone but especially the comment about water weight. I had a couple days last week where I went off the rails with sodium but kept my calories right where they should be. Gained 2 lbs at my weekly weigh in. The following couple days I've been drinking a lot of herbal tea which acts as a diruetic for me. AND I've been keeping the sodium down. Those 2 lbs were gone in just a couple days and it appears they're taking a couple of their friends with them!

THANKS EVERYBODY. I WORKED OUT MY FRUSTRATION BY GOING DIGGING IN MY GARDEN TO GET THE WEEDS OUT AND THEN WALKED UP THE HILL TWICE AND THEN DID MORE DIGGING IN THE GARDEN AND GOT A BLISTER ON MY FINGER SO THAT WILL TEACH ME ABOUT OVERDOING IT. I DID DIG UP 7 WHITE ONIONS FROM LAST YEAR AND ONCE THE GARDEN IS ALL THE WAY DONE AND THE COW MANURE ON IT AND SPADED AGAIN WE WILL BE PUTTING IN THE ONIONS.

Cyd, one of the discoveries I have had on this journey is that the weightloss journey, even with our best effort, is not a steady downward trend everyday. Some days its down, some days its up and other days sideways. But if you keep at it (like you are), and look at the trend at the end of each month you will see your progress. Stay positive :)

My life story recently read the same as yours. It does suck when we let other things get in the way of what we need to be doing for ourselves,but we can take responsibility & put our needs first each time we realize they aren't & then things begin to get better again. The more we do it,the less our days suck.:D

I have about 10 lbs to lose, and I get just as frustrated! I have been working out for 2.5 months at the gym lifting weights/cardio, and more, eating very low carb/higher fat and protein, and have only lost about 2 lbs., no inches! I often wonder why I bother! But if you hang in there, Cyd69, so will I! Sounds like you're doing a lot! Keep up the good work!!
