This morning I got up and decided I didn't want to run on the treadmill. So despite the freezing temps I decdided to do my 25 minute run for couch-5k wk7 outside. I looked up my old 5k route and added made a 25min playlis. I was able to run so much farther than the last time I did this route last summer. I made it 15 minutes without taking a walk break, walked to min, then ran another 10. Not the 25 straight I was hoping for, but not bad for my first outside run in like 6 months or more. I finished the route up with a brisk walk and all in all I cut 10 minutes off my time from last summer on this route. I'm hoping my improving my endurance I'll cut another 10 minutes off before the Panarathon 5k run at the end of April.
