Lean protiens such as boneless skinless chicken breasts, fish such as talapia Salmon or tuna are great choices, and higher fiber foods, will help curb some of those cravings. Examples of the higher fiber foods with bulk are cabbage, broccoli, leafy greens. You are diabetic like myself, like a lot of us, you can still have your carbs in moderation just make sure that fiber makes up a decent portion of the carb content.. Fiber will help blunt spikes in your blood sugar. that will also curb cravings.
Remember, you are not alone. I for one have been there before and there are many many more of us. You took the first step, keep taking them no matter how small.. It takes many small steps to climb a mountain! You can do this!
