This is the first time that I found this web site. I recently found out that I am a diabetic and I started out very well now I feel that I am alone and I am having trouble finding things to eat that fill me up and I have very little motivation.

Lean protiens such as boneless skinless chicken breasts, fish such as talapia Salmon or tuna are great choices, and higher fiber foods, will help curb some of those cravings. Examples of the higher fiber foods with bulk are cabbage, broccoli, leafy greens. You are diabetic like myself, like a lot of us, you can still have your carbs in moderation just make sure that fiber makes up a decent portion of the carb content.. Fiber will help blunt spikes in your blood sugar. that will also curb cravings. Remember, you are not alone. I for one have been there before and there are many many more of us. You took the first step, keep taking them no matter how small.. It takes many small steps to climb a mountain! You can do this!

You are not alone. You can check your community to see if there are any diabetic groups that meet yo get support from as well. I used overeaters anonymous for a long time.
