Feeling a little blah today. Not bad, just low energy. Brain hurts from finishing income taxes.

I accidentally remembered that I actually need to lose another 75 pounds to get to my "real" goal weight, and I shouldn't have done that. It's too overwhelming and depressing. I should have kept it in my mind that my first goal of 100 pounds has ONLY 45 pounds to go. 55 down, 45 to go. That's the manta. I see the doctor tomorrow.

I really can't wait to get under 200 so I can feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel - only 24 more pounds until I see that light. At this rate, that's 3 months at 8 pounds a month. So April, May, end of June. By the 4th of July, I should be looking at 199 pounds!
224.0 lb Lost so far: 56.0 lb.    Still to go: 75.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

When I started, I didn't have a goal. Just wanted to lose. Got below 200 then began setting goals. Now considering the loss is slow, I set small goals. And they're in 5lb. increments. I would imagine it would be overwhelming thinking, holy s**t, I've got another XXX lbs. to lose. 8lbs. a month is awesome. Excellent for you.

My recommendation is in a PM to you. There's no rushing this. You know I'm here to support you long term. If you need to get to the end of the month to hit your goal before doing what I suggest, so be it. If you choose to ignore me, that's fine too. But you're too good a friend and too good a person for me to pull punches. It's not in my nature anyway. Do not reply to this post until you've calmed down from my PM. I know you'll be upset with me.

I've put the weight number aside for a while and I'm thinking in terms of inches. Clothing fits better and I'm moving just fine. I'm stretching and touching my toes and and these things mean more than the pounds. I think it's better to put these other factors into play to keep the positives coming in. If I used my weight as the only factor I'd be quitting the whole plan because it's just not happening like I thought it would.

Good advice from all! Thank you for the support. NM, you couldn't make me mad if you tried, LOL.

Hope the blah's have lifted -- we all feel them occasionally. But you have the right attitude, and the time to achieve all your goals! Here's to the 4th, and achieving that next milestone! xoxox

You have done amazing so far. Dwell on how far you have come, keep what you are doing and the rest will happen.

Don't let the numbers overwhelm you. One meal at a time is all we can do. The rest is patience!

Keep up all your good work and try not to be over whelmed. I have started making mini goals in 10 pound increments and it seems to help me with motivation. Whatever works for you, just remember this is for a lifetime!
