Finished my daughter's room this weekend and the zebra striped wall turned out awesome!! It took a really long time to do it and I finished after she went to bed, but the time doing it was so worth it to see the look on her face when she saw it done!

My mom and I have always shared our historical romance books. They've been at her house, but she's decided she isn't really into reading them anymore and asked if I'd want them, YES! So Sunday hubby and I moved books and bookcase to our house. I alphabetized them and spent hours reading the backs. I've read a lot of them already so it was like hanging out with old friends and finding some new ones. It makes me so happy to walk past my bookcase and see all my books there. If I were rich and could do anything in the world, I'd read all day long :)!!

The last 2 weekends we've moved so much furniture and boxes, I told hubby we could have moved to a new house! Next weekend I'm not moving anything!!

Hope everyone has a great week.

Love the zebra wall idea! I'm sure it's fantastic! When we moved to this house we asked the boys what they wanted to paint their room. We meant color, but being little boys, their answer was DINOSAURS! lol So I got to freehand a prehistoric landscape, luckily there are dinosaur wall stickers, so we could cheat a bit. Enjoy your books =)

Oh I bet that landscape is cool! And yay for dinosaur wall stickers, I can't imagine trying to paint those! It is so fun to be able to decorate kids' rooms, it takes me back to being a kid again!

Love the books. These day with Ebooks, etc., very few thrift stores even stock used books as far as I've seen. The image of it reading your journal reminded me of my childhood where my walls were lined with books. It was like being surrounded by friends, yeah.

Bella I've read a couple of Ebooks, but prefer to hold the paperback book in my hand. It makes me a little sad to see books go by the wayside and wonder what books if any there will be when my kids are grown. My retirement project was going to be to have a used book store. . .wonder if more than just me will want old books in 30 years!
