sometimes i wish i could just close a door on EVERYTHING, except me, my husband and my kids... extended families can be so FRUSTRATING...do you ever feel like you've been walking on eggshells around someone, and all of a sudden they just all crack at once? I'm so glad this day is over, but not looking forward to the next few, because I'm going to have to deal with the mess sooner or later, and I just don't think there'll be a good outcome.

On a positive note, I been doing really well with my food since my restart, and decent water intake (not as much as I should have, but better than I have been lol), feeling good about that. I know that this worked for me before, and it will this time!! when I did my "new" initial weight, I know that I was fudging on the number, i think it was actually a couple pounds higher, but I know that there's been a change, albeit a very small one, because the pants I wore today weren't "quite" as snug as they were when I wore them last week...

Family is the biggest stresser for me, and you know what the stresser triggers!! Take a deep breath and remember that somethings you have no control over but what you eat you have total control. Stay strong my friend and remember you doing this for YOU!!

You got that right, Beaugez - I didn't give into saying the h*ll with it, and going after one of my hubby's muffins lol - I did look long and hard at the yogurt section (I'm on Atkins, so at least for now, those are a no-no), but at least it was the yogurt section and not the bakery :)

Yes, ive felt like that. Take one day at a time. That's all we can do and stay positive and don't sweat the small stuff. I know its hard sometimes but you're lucky you have your family. Good job on your weight loss efforts, its a great feeling when the clothes start fitting looser.:)
