Hey Fluffy,I agree with you. I am taking time out for me this year. I know that when I lose the weight my family will benefit from a healthier me...but I am doing this for me. I am sick and tired of feeling powerless and defeated. This is our year.

Thanks Song Byrd. I couldn't agree more. I am taking it a day at a time. The way I look at it is that although I am losing very slowly right now because of my RA, at least I am not gaining, which is what usually happens when I have a flare up. Usually, because I cannot exercise, I sit on the couch and eat. Now I am watching what I eat, and so not being able to exercise just stalls the weight loss, but does not make me gain. I can't wait for this latest flare up to end so I can get back to exercising regularly.
