jersey_girl85's Journal, 21 January 2011

So last night i checked out weight watchers new points plus program, i refuse to pay them for something that i can do on my own, since i know what i SHOULD be eating, just havent till umm, now...anyway, so i checked it out and i like that they now take into consideration protein and carbs when calculating the points value. i used weight watchers last year and lost about 40lbs, some of which ive gained back, but i think this time i can make it work for good. also, tmrw morning i am going to start jillian michaels 30-day shred. we'll see how that goes. i want to start seeing results pronto, so i know im at least doing something right and that im on my way to looking the way i want to. ...i also just finished rummaging through the fridge and defacing stuff with my trusted sharpie lol i work best when being able to see the points value of something before i cook/eat it. let the weight losing begin! ...and weigh in is tmrw...lets hope its a happy day, ive been pretty good for the past couple weeks.
ramble over and out.

I'm interested in how you are computing the points under the new system. Would you care to share please? Thanks! J

J-Computing points now is kinda complicated. Hard to do without the electronic "Points Calculator" available in meeting rooms, but basically a formula that takes the "whole picture"(fats, protien, carbs, fiber) into account. JerseyGirl-Good luck with Points Plus & keep us updated on your progress.
