Six or so weeks into the 5:2 diet and it seems to be working for me. Lost 2 lbs a week since starting - even with some big binges on non-fast days.

Found that egg whites can be very useful in building a 250-300 calorie meal. I don't keep vegan any longer, but my wife and daughter are adamant so I always have whole foods around, and sometimes slip a little chopped ham into my frittata.

This could be a life-style diet I could get used to. So far, so good.
