Ok - I am mad. Last March was the last time I dieted. I hate dieting - I know it must be a lifestyle change. So I am changing my lifestyle. I feel like an old, fat lady and do not like myself. I take care of everyone else but me. Enough. Without me healthy, I am not any good to my family. I need to get healthy for me and my family. By the end of every night my ankles are swollen and they remind me that my choices suck. No more soda or chocolate. No sweets til I have lost 20 pounds then I will treat myself. I must get to the Y. I pay monthly and do not take advantage of it and I know that working out is the key to successfully losing weight once and for all.

So - I went to the Y this morning and came home and made a heart healthy omelette and best of all, I checked back into Fat Secret! Lookout, America! :)

Good for you! You can do it and you're worth it. Diets never worked for me either, at least for long. What has worked this time is tracking my food and keeping those calories in check. I keep getting stuck at certain weights but have not gained, and that's an accomplishment for me. I don't deprive myself, if I want something "forbidden" I work it into my calories, that way it truly is a lifestyle change, not a "don't eat anything good, diet" lol
