My Achilles tendons are bothering me very badly. I have to walk the dog still. It is unlikely I can walk to church and it is only a quarter mile away. I am not too happy about this. I need the foot support arches for my flat feet soon. I have the left foot wrapped in an ace bandage. I am doing low carb and lately I have not had much of an appetite, which is good.

I got a ride. On Sunday I will start logging in food. There will be fast days, I will try to do two a week, one minimum as it helps curb one's appetite. I can't exercise now, so it is imperative that I really cut back on the eating. Atkins only works if one does long-term forced no carbs. It is hard. If I have a salad, it may not be many carbs, but if the salad is big enough, there will be too many calories and carbs there. I am not sleeping right (a long-term problem for sure) and I probably have sleep apnea, as I rarely sleep decently... unless I take strong tranquilizers, but I don't have enough of them to take them at bedtime. Ambien is fairly useless as is Melatonin, which knocks me out, but with nightmares, etc. I may just go back to a high dose of Melatonin, which doesn't always work either.

Doing OK today, not hungry. I may go out for dinner. No exercise for me right now. Tomorrow I go to physical therapy and I need to find out what type of shoe inserts or ankle braces to wear; I am sick of winter. I may move down to the South... I am fed up with long, cold, snowy winters. This winter we have gotten brutal cold and lots of snow. The earth is 4.5 billion years old it is said, so I don't think mankind is in complete control of the weather.

Thanks Springskinny. I am doing low calorie with lower carbs. I am plateaued out at 240 or so in the morning. I need to lose 35 lbs. I ate popcorn with margarine and some spinach salad with blue cheese dressing, only 600 calories so far today and just dinner left, and I am not hungry. If I can do under 1500 calories a day and a few fast days a week or at least one, I can lose again. I walked a half mile today, in the mess of snow, not much from this storm, just the sidewalks aren't shoveled. I got good news for a change, and that is that I can move out of state with the pension I have, or buy a house in the area in late autumn. My tendons are better with ice soaks and physical therapy exercises. I hope everyone is well. I hope to get on here later and journal my intake. Hi, all.
