I hate that when I reset the diet-type that it won't let me input my previous start weight. With this weigh-in I am down 15 lbs since Jan 9. I do not know everything, but after a lifetime of dealing with this there are a few truths that I accept.

- Weight loss or maintenance is as individual as the snowflakes currently piled in mammoth amounts in my yard. There are concepts that work across the board but the reality is that the factors of age, gender, genetics and metabolism all play a significant role.

- The concept of CICO (calories in - calories out) is simply not a hard and fast rule. All you have to do is read the tortured posts of people here who are trying to operate at half their RDI and making no progress to understand that. Using the SAME RDI one year ago, and religiously adhering to the points system in WW - I dropped six lbs and stalled completely. After months of research and meeting with my doctor I changed the quality of the content of that RDI and I am losing comfortably and steadily with no outrageous bouts of hunger or misery.

- I cannot define myself by any particular regime, I take the parts that work from several. In general I am low carb, whole foods and avoid sugar. I keep my protein around 110 and my net carb count less than 50 and that seems to work. Fats don't bother me in the least and since I ditched WW and went back to whole foods and began eating fats again my cholesterol and triglycerides absolutely improved. I use Paleo resources for most of my recipes for myself and my family because they taste good and the ingredients work for me, but I do not cut out dairy completely.

- I put real cream in my coffee. So there.

Hey whatever works for you is great and you are right, it's all about the individual. What works for some may not work for another. Good for you for sticking with it.

Have you tried clicking the button to enter historical weight on the right side when you click weigh in? I dont know if that will work, but when I switched scales I was able to go back in and change all my previous weigh-ins to match up with my current scale (one that has me 6.2 lbs heavier... Which sucks but its easier to read than the scale in my bathroom!). I hope this helps! Either way... 15 lbs... Way to go!!! You are doing great :)

I did try that when I switched diet types, no luck. I will live with it, it shows up on my full history anyway. I will just have to keep at it until I catch up with it again. LOL Thanks for the support. :)
