Good morning!

Priority and consistency! Those are the key words, and they are working for me right now. I like it.

If you read yesterday's journal, you will know those words. I wrote a little about it, and linked to a couple of great articles that relates to it, along with HIIT training and what to do when you stall in your weight loss journey. All good stuff.

The results are crazy. I'm down 1½ kilo, two days in a row.

Weight is still unacceptable high at 86.2 kilos, but I'm getting back to where I want to be.

I see some crazy fluctuations in my scale readings - I think what I've been putting my body through lately has gotten all the numbers messed up.

Obviously, some of the "bad" readings come from poor food choices. I do think that the stress is a factor too, but much more in the way that it makes me make the poor food choices, and not so much a body reaction to everything going on.

It's still calories in vs. calories out.

The thing that the stress do to me is that it makes me eat bad things.

Well, Priority and Consistency should help me with that.

It's a good little mantra to be telling myself. I think it helps. I feel that it helps. The numbers on the scale (so far) says it helps.

Today is training day. Gym day. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm gonna be attempting 5 reps on all the machines today, and thus move a little closer to being back at 100%. 100% is 6 reps for me. Then work towards putting more weight on the machines, and put on more muscles.

It's gonna be a good day.

I slept fair. Not as well as I could have - fitbit still tells me that I sleep VERY uneven, but I slept okay.

...

I knew that I was down in weight the moment I woke up. I had that "light" feeling in my body. It's been a while since I have registered it, but there it was. I felt that I had less fat around my stomach, and I felt more "edges" around my ribs, collar bones, etc.

It's a great feeling. To me, it's a feeling of accomplishment.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Mornings where I feel rested.
- Focus on my journey.
- Morning coffee.
- Wife.
- Gym day.

Great news Keld! I miss that light feeling. I think it goes away when you are sharing you body. ;)
