What the heck. I'm doing it the RIGHT WAY; why is this happening?

I was really bummed about this all day. Thinking of just throwing in the towel. Then I knew that wasn't right. So then I got to wondering if maybe I can do the weight watchers points thingie AS WELL as the Atkins? I don't think that would work either. Or do the Weight Watchers (I was a member for 2 years and have the calculators and tools) and avoid a lot of carbs?

I don't know. I'll have to sleep on it; or wait and see what you guys think.

Aww you're no quitter right? I think sometimes it takes a little bit to get things moving. Watching calories and moving your body is the best way to get the results you want so be patient and keep doing your best every day. Have a good evening.

sometimes the phsyical body changes and the scale does not. Dont be so hard on yourself.

Commitment is key. At the end of the day when you draw the line, if you did everything right fine, if not, something to pay attention to and learn from and in the morning when you wake up, it's a new day. Are you still in? For me, I check: if I breathe and I move, then Yes, I am still in.

Yes, _sleep_ on it. Rest, relax, reason. You know you couldn't possibly have gained 2 lbs of actual fat in 2 days. Water weight fluctuates for a million different reasons, so don't stress yourself out over one data point. Your trend line is still downward.

yeah thanks you guys. No, I'm not going to quit. I CAN'T quit. imjinc2k, thank you and u are so right. I couldn't have gained 2 lbs of fat in 2 days. But I can't help but wonder if i'm taking in too much fat. Thanks so much for all your support. I was hoping to have heard from someone here by this morning. Today is a new day and I will stick with it!

I do a modified Atkins on WW. I lose better with lower carb but I like the accountability of counting points. It can work.
