I did the Wii fit this morning. I had also invested in the Biggest Loser for wii. It has good exercises, and can def work you out, but that's about it. This site does a better job on all of the rest of the stuff.

It was a day off for my BL so I did the Fit and it was actually a pretty good workout, with burning legs and everything! I was surprised. I unlocked a free run and a free stepper and I really like those. They are 10 minutes a piece, and you can watch TV at the same time if you want and the remote keeps you updated on your progress! I did 1156 steps this morning! I mean ,they were just on the balance board and not a trues high stepper, but I still think that is pretty good.

I woke up to another pound lost, and I have to tell you it feels so good to finally be making progress. I have to credit God for all my successes because I know that I can't do this alone. I certainly am not motivated by myself to get up at 5:45 and workout, it was def God nudging me to get up, way before my alarm.

I did the free stepper again tonight. I did 20 minutes while I watched a recorded show! It was great! I stepped 2100 steps (on the wii fit board). Yay!

I prefer the Kinect game for the Xbox 360: "The Biggest Loser, Ultimate Workout", because it seems more well-rounded for a Personal training program (floor exercises, warm-ups and cool-downs, yoga, box-fit, circuit training, 5 levels of difficulty, Stability ball and resistance band equipment use, calorie counter, and personalized exercise programs that you can decide on how many days/week and session length, as well as routines that are centered on certain muscle-groups: full-body, chest & arms, core, butt, legs, that you can change anytime that you want to.) I mostly use YS: FE for my pre-warm-up (Zen, mini-games), and Box-fit, occasionally. My biggest complaint about "Your Shape: Fitness Evolved" is that the personalized training routines are too aerobics-centric, whereas, "TBLUW" feels more like participating in a one-on-one personalized training session (the instructor gives a lot more feedback during each exercise, so you can improve on improper technique as your doing it, versus YS: FE's more vague tips on improvement at the end of each exercise). If you have an Xbox 360,I highly recommend a Kinect add-on purchase, and be sure to check out the downloadable demo from Xbox Live. If you don't have an Xbox, you can get an Xbox and Kinect bundled together in a couple of price points (different hard drive sizes). I highly recommend it, it's capable of much more than the Wii or PS3 for exercise games! And let me know what you think! Good luck in reaching all of your weigjt loss goals! I'll keep you in my prayers!

We only have a Wii, so I kind of have to do what I can with it. I do have the BL workout videos also. I like to use the Wii in the early morning when I wouldn't even think of going out and when it's nasty outside like today. I did find that if I mix it up (create my own routine and circuits) then I really feel worked over. I've heard good things about the Kinect though. Nice to meet you.

The Kinect is truly awesome! If you can find a way to try one out (with TBLUW), you will see why I recommend to you to try to buy one (someday)! One day at a time, though, right?
