Time For a Change Mom's Journal, 27 January 2014

Since my workout partner has fizzled out on me, the working out in the evenings is not working! SO my goal for this week is to get my hiney out of bed and get it done. My problem is I can't quit yawning as I am trying to exercise. Anyone have any good recommendations for how to get the lead out and wake up a bit so you feel you have energy to get a good workout??

Try a workout with a five minute warm up before the hard core moves, that might help you get focused. Also, get up right away, walk around as you get dress, and have some water. If you can get the workout in, the awake feeling and the additional calorie burn you get just might be the motivation to wake up the next day. Day 1 is always the hardest, you just have to do it. Only you can get you moving.

Yep you are right Kathy. On so many levels. You should be a trainer, you are good at keeping people accountable!

Lost my Mojo today. Need motivating. Not sleeping very well so very tired.

Make sure to eat a decent breakfast. I find that I yawn more if I slack on breakfast or eat on my way to the gym. If you can eat about 30 minutes before working out that helps me. The 5 minute warm up helps a lot too, it's usually out of my system after that.

My goal for the morning is to do some good warming up and get some water down. I am proud bc I ate out for both lunch and supper and remained under calories for the day. I will take the small success!
