Day 3 of long weekend. After initial rough start, we had some good time. As soon as the feast was over, gremlins turned back into normal people and some even appologised for their behavior next day. I do love them all dearly, but sometimes I just want to be alone or with DH for a change.

I spent 2 days with DH who was very supportive through the whole ordeal despite being equally upset. We did some Black Friday shopping, walked and ate twice at our favorite cafe in the park. Yes, we have tons of leftovers at home, but somehow I was not in the mood for any of it.

The weather was very nice though it is getting colder. Still no rain. I hope tomorrow will be nice as well and we can go for another walk.

DH ordered some gym equipment and we are trying to assemble it today. May be I will be able to use it as well when I do not have time for anything else.

I don't know why people use the holidays, a time they should be enjoying family and friends, as a time to work out past hurts and issues. I'm glad your weekend got better.
