I'm doing well. I am adding two things to the book so it is taking a bit more time to finish than I thought. I need to set a schedule of when/how often I am going to write. I cut back my cable but I've read the most prolific writers tend to not watch TV much. I do watch two daytime shows and a little news in the evening. I miss like two shows on TV, a news show and a reality show, but I think over the long haul it will benefit me not to watch too much TV. The weather is cold. Rain tomorrow - yesterday we got like a half-inch of snow here in the evening. The second book is half as long as the first, but I may add a few scenes and another character in it to liven it up a bit, but it is a good read and the extra time I'm taking will just help me sell these books hopefully. Then it will be on to the nine or so short stories that will make another book. The dieting is going OK but I may have to go on WW perhaps. It is usually too cold to do much walking, but I have done more than I usually do when the weather is this cold. Have a great Sunday everyone... :)

Hey Glenn! I'm glad to hear things are going well and that the writing is progressing. Regarding the TV, I only watch news and analysis myself along with an occasional movie. It would seem to me that TV and writing don't go well together at all. I also use radio a lot (Bloomberg, NPR) and find it less stressful on my eyes and system in general. Thanks info. I am keeping very busy - it is cold season so I know how important it is not to take breaks of one day here two days there they add up when it comes to writing. I figure if I have three books done by March or so hopefully that will lead to something better than just one. I will start sending query letters out in the next month. I need very little to live off of and if one of the books even sells moderately it is likely to give me enough money to live off of for some time. I have been living off of less than $20 K a year for fifteen years so I will be very frugal even if I have some success, I'm not one who needs a lot of money to live life to its fullest. We have no Bloomberg radio here - NPR yes - but it can be listened to on the Internet I'm sure. There will likely be flooding by our river here in the coming days as it poured all day for hours and continues even now. I'm sorry I haven't been getting on journals but will hopefully tomorrow when I take a break from writing. Thanks for checking in...

Thanks abba - I am so busy writing lately that I have little time to get on here. The historical fiction book is adding up to be about 620 pages, and I still have two brief things in history that happened that will make the book better so I have to add those events clearly - it will make the book better. This will be the FINAL edit of this book before I send it to an agent through a query letter. I have become quite good at editing and making a book better as time has progressed. I hope everyone is doing well...
