My stepDad and stepSister's power finally got turned back on! We found out by accident. Their black lab and my son's mixed breed dog were fighting and biting each other, so we decided to take the lab to their house and low and behold, their lights were on! It was warm in there! So we dropped the dog off and came back and did the dinner and they went home.
We all had such a good time, talking, laughing and joking! The taffy apple salad was such a big hit.
Today I'm going to my brother's for dinner. With my Dad and stepMom, all the kids, grandkids and great grandkids, there will be over 30 people there. Uh oh, my little brother will be there, I'm in touble. LOL! I've got to make some more taffy apple salad today to take up there for the dinner.
My son came yesterday afternoon, so everything is perfect for me. I'm so blessed! They are leaving tomorrow morning.
