Johanne's Journal, 14 November 2013

OK. So I'm back to square one, AGAIN. But, last week, when I didn't officially weigh in, I was up to 233. That's the first time I had been over my initial 50 lb loss. I have to admit, it scared me. 50 lbs was the "line in the sand" I had drawn and I had crossed it. My lowest weight was 208, so I've gained back 20 lbs in the last two years. 228 puts me back to 51 lbs lost, so far, and I hope it means I'm back on track. By this time next year, I would like to be close to my REAL goal. I will be 70 years old and I don't relish the idea of being crippled by my weight, which has been happening for years. That first 50 lbs has helped, but I still have so far to go.
228.0 lb Lost so far: 51.0 lb.    Still to go: 28.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think some of us gained some weight while we were away. I gained 11 lbs. It took me forever to get those 11 off too. Sucks, doesn't it? SO, back to the basics. Eat simply. Meat and veggies and no processed foods in boxes, etc. Easier said than done when on a tight income, but all is possible, right? We can do this together. Hugs!
