alanpfd's Journal, 13 November 2013

For the first time since I started this current effort, eating wasn't the prime thought on my mind today. I take this as a good sign. In the past when I've been successful, I've reached a point where my appetite conforms to the diet and I can move ahead on autopilot. I've still got to make sure I don't fall for a momentary temptation, but following the diet doesn't seem like such a burden. I'm not sure if I'm there yet, but I'm hoping.

Yes yes yes. I love that point where I have a handle on the eating, I am never hungry and am no longer craving. I went shopping today and the world is covered in sweets, every shelf seems to have something I can never eat again. I wasn't tempted today but I know it will come.

I know what you mean about temptations. I'm going to Costco on Friday. I always find that trip very difficult.
