weight recording on this site is a bit off. unable to delete an entry when you make an error, unable to edit and correct.
actual starting weight was 217 on 09-15. Started to seriously follow nutrisystem and exercise on 10-21-13 with a weight of 213.

seems like a long time but actually only 3 weeks. I guess since I have been unsuccessfully dieting for so many years it seems like slow progress. 6 lbs lost in three weeks is a good steady pace. I have a mini goal of 199 just to break that 200 lb mark. I would like to reach that before before Christmas. It will be hard over the holidays so my biggest challenge is slow loss or maintenance without depriving myself of all the holiday 'treats'. I must make wise choices and really be aware of portions. One small piece of pie or cookie is fine and does not make this attempt another failure.
Leaving town for a wedding this coming week. Taking most of my meals with me. plan on getting at least 30 minutes or more of walking each day. Oh,,,and making sure I record EVERYTHING I eat, good or bad.
