I feel like progress has really slowed down lately and am finding it really hard to stay motivated. I still beleive I can get down to 145lbs but think it will just be a slow steady journey.
When i watch programmes and see other peoples dramatic weight loses I always feel tempted to do some crazy diet just to give myself a push but in the back of my mind is Jillian Micheals telling me ' nothing comes for free ' so i'm trying to stick to a sensible calorie intake, keep up my high intensity exercise and trying to eat the correct ratios. I'vw always been good for doing my exercise cos i do enjoy it but i find it harder to stick to the calories and harder still to get the ratios right.

I decided to have a look back at my weight history and think i need to praise myself for once. I'm doing my best to be consistent, after all, this isn't a diet, this is a life style change and i just have to take each day as it comes, its a journey and there will be bumps along the way but when i look back and see that i've lost 36lbs in 7 months, that means on average i've lost 5lbs a month and i'm very happy with that.

All i need to do now is remain sensible over the christmas and new year period and not go nuts eating junk and being careful not to go too much over my calorie allowance. I had quite a few days in november where i ate nearly 3 days worth of calories and it was suprisingy easy with lunches out, dinners out, all finished off with nice puddings. One pudding i can was nearly 600 calories!! thats almost half my calorie allowance. Definately need to be careful not to over indulge.
