So does crying your eyes out for an hour burn extra calories?
Today was a crazy day, got up started house Work, then had an emergency call for rescue. I was just getting ready to eat lunch had to walk away, saving dogs comes before all else. I go to our animal control, only to find out they could not release animals as they have a new virus and can't figure out what it is. So I had to walk away from a German Shepherd that was injured and really needed us as he was rescue only and the other rescues turned him down. So I had to look at someone and say we can not take him. please don't let him suffer from the wounds any longer. which if anyone does not understand, the dog was euth'ed shortly after I walked away.

So from there, driving and crying my eyes out I start home, get another call. Our President and founder blew a tire. She was on her way for a different rescue pick-up. I had to get home, get my girl up as her to let me drop her off early so I could run and meet this other transport. I was running around frantic because i had things for the rescue and since the rescue is over 2 hours away and my friend was not going to be able to come by my house as planed, I needed to get everything together and take it with me. Drive them to the location my friend was at to get her tire replaced. Transferred it all, had to rush home as I needed to drive 2 hours north to look at a house. Got home realized I had forgotten a lot of stuff including a new 47 in flat screen. I had to move that to my car, lift it into my trunk (bad move) gather up the other things and I was ready to start running again. My husband decides that we should set up appointments to look at more than just one house. Screws up the flow, but okay.

Now I can eat, it's 3:30 but what the heck. Someone opened my gate and my dogs got out. Had to get them back. Get them and then my husband asks for help with some things on the computer. so 6 PM comes and I start making my dinner. I realize I have to stop to test one of my dogs blood sugar levels, he is diabetic. I stop and I do that and then to give his insulin, he has to eat first, so I feed the dogs, give the one his insulin. NOW I can eat, nope my husband calls out to talk to me. I am talking to him for awhile and finally told him I had not eaten in 24 hours if I did not get food, he was going to be picking me up. Now I do get to get my food ready. I looked at the clock and realized, today was going to be another epic fail on the Don't feed the night owl.

What a day... What a week... and many days and chores and responsibilties to come.
