Had a great thanksgiving and a great weekend in the City. Stayed within my carbs and whilst I did have a few drinks over the course of the weekend it wasn't bad at all. Even Dicken's Fair food vendors supported me as I found a nice lamb chop offering. We went for drinks at the Top of the Mark and I had lump crab and avocado "towers" (bonbon sized LOL) which were totally low-carb friendly. The sunset over San Francisco was beautiful and the view is justly famous.
On Sunday we went to The Rotunda where I had steak Diane. Must remember that "steak Diane" means a NY strip so peppered that you can't taste the meat. I sent it back and asked them to wash off the pepper. *sigh* Their creamed spinach was out of this world though and I would have been happy with a huge bowl of it.
It was just a really wonderful weekend of fun with the DH & other friends. I have lots to be thankful for. And hopefully my weigh-in tomorrow will be on target.
