speechless808's Journal, 14 November 2008

so now that i left my 2nd job, i actually have more time on my hands! which means i have been cooking more. which also means i have been ignoring my moms cooking. ive found a lot of good recipes on hungrygirl that i want to try out, one of them being a thai shrimp cilantro soup. i also tried a couple of new low point foods that i actually liked. i tried tofu noodles and used them to make pasta. the noodles are okay for being one point, but you cant eat them by themselves or they taste gross, really gross. so i have been using them with spaghetti or alfredo sauce. i want to start using them for soups too. ive also been eating sweet potatoes. they're so good! I'm going to start using them in everything. they're way healthier than normal potatoes.

I actually worked out twice this week. next week i will shoot for 3 times to make up for the weekend. im going to a bday party tomorrow. weekends always kill me, so i will try to regulate. my goal for the week is to cut back on sweets... so I want to take some sugar free joe lattis to the party tomorrow so i wont eat cupcakes or cake =)

Monica, I'm so proud of you. You're actually keeping up with this website and taking advantage of it. And coming up with new foods and recipes! And yes, sweet potatoes are awesome! They were in that Healthy Choice meal I had and I liked it better with my meal than the regular roasted potatoes I had the day after. Mmm...
