What a gorgeous morning to take a walk...except I didn't! LOL! I had a church commitment that came up last minute and I foolishly said I'd help out. Good thing I did, though. This was really Phase 1 of 2 for a job that will finish up next Friday (but I didn't volunteer for that one). Original plan was to do today's work right along with next Friday's work on just that 1 day. Once we got going today, it was apparent that splitting up the work into 2 sessions was the much wiser way to do this.

Although I took my gym stuff, drinks, and snacks, along with me, it was so late when we finished up that I just did my other 2 errands and let the exercise go. Even with a snack before starting out this AM and a snack along the way, I was getting too hungry to keep on going without a proper meal. I KNOW what happens if I do! Not pretty.

A little cooking, a little BBQ marinating, a bit of fall decorating, etc. are all on the agenda for my shortened day. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

There will be plenty of lovely mornings for walking. And I fully understand what you are saying about the snacks. Getting over-hungry is so very counter productive!

Buffy, and the frustrating thing is that I seem to go from "just fine, no worries" to "ever-so-slightly hungry" to "ravenous, can't get enough" in the space of just a few minutes....what's up with that? LOL!
