After being down at my mum and dads for a few days i was able to get back to some hard exercise today. I did do two long walks while at mum and dads which did burn around 500 calories each so i can't say i didn't exercise at all.

This morning i decided to do a different run route as i was getting a little bored of my usual route and had achieved a good time last week of 21 minutes for my 2.25 mile route. I enjoyed the kettlebell class at the Arena Gym in Tamworth on Wednesday night and it burned around 600 cals for 45 mins which is great. There is also a kettlebell class on a saturday morning at 10am so i thought i'd see how long it would take to run to the gym as its only about a mile and a half away. After i'd wrapped up warm and got my mp3 player good to go, i was off, it took me 16 minutes to reach the gym door and then i stopped there and did some stretches and keep warm before running back home again which was another 16 minutes. I'll need to make sure that after the wednesday night class i book into the saturday morning class and i'll run to the gym first and after. I'll be interested to see how many calories i'll burn during a 45 mins KB class and a 32 minute run. My HRM has been playing up though which is really annoying as i like to wear it all day long to track my calorie burn.
