Tomorrow is Mr Coco's 58th b'day. Since a lot of good places are closed Mondays, we ate out last night at the best restaurant in town and it was fabulous. I honestly can't remember having a better meal. Cocktail: satsuma mimosa; appetizer: pork belly on risotto; wine: Macon white; entree: pompano with greens and fingerling potatoes; dessert: chocolate, peanut butter, caramel cookie-tart (not the official name, but that's pretty much what it consisted of.) This place specializes in fresh local ingredients. It was a decadent diet-buster, but it didn't feel unhealthy, like eating at Cheesecake Factory might've. And the portions were reasonable. One thing I noticed was that it was prepared with a little more salt than we do at home. But I read that lots of salt and butter are the restaurants' dirty little secret to flavorful food.

Back to reality today. We can eat fresh local stuff at home too.
171.2 lb Lost so far: 40.8 lb.    Still to go: 21.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Were on a live-it not diet remember so living it up on your hubby's happy 58th birthday is healthy in my eyes. By getting back to your healthier normal routine today, you now have Thanksgiving to look forward to. TOWANDA!!!!
