This is my first day all week without a "must do" in it! Yay!!!! Sure, there are LOADS of things to do, but none of them specifically scheduled in for today.

I took both doggies out for our walk this morning; Lab gal for 1 mile; Collie guy for the entire 3.1 miles and then I let both dogs cool off in the pool. They LOVE the pool, esp. my Collie when he's all hot from a walk. I think he'd lay in the water all day if I let him.

My sister got to see her therapist yesterday - thank heaven. From her email, it sounds like it was a good appointment. I'll be talking to her sometime this weekend so I'll get a better read.

This weekend, DH and I will be working on our closet. He had so much clothing weight on his side, it actually broke 2 support brackets the other day and slid about half his stuff on the floor! The rod actually bent! That's a clear sign, we have too much stuff!

To be fair....he had brought out some older clothing that now fits him and had just squeezed it all in there until he could have some time to reorganize and clear out what he doesn't need anymore. Also, to be fair again.....he's a tall guy, so his clothing is always heavier and his uniforms are super-heavy, compared to what shorter guys might have.

While he clears out his side, I might as well continue to clear out my own stuff. I've put aside a lot to go onto eBay, but realistically, much of it may be too out-of-date. Might be better to just donate it. I'm in luck because a particular agency is coming around with their truck at the end of the month and are looking for donations. Of course, I can also donate to the thrift where I volunteer.

I've assessed my weight loss over the last week....a piddly .2 pounds (home weight, where I record tenths). I suspect it's because I've let my carbs slide a bit, esp. with those delicious flavored almonds!!! LOVE them, but I need to cut back and not have some every day. I've got under 3 weeks left this month to drop 4 pounds. Doable, but only if I tighten up on discipline, cutting back on the carbs. I'll still have my pancakes tomorrow. I love that indulgence (higher carbs due to the sugar alcohols) and don't want to forego it.

Yesterday morning, I had a major attack of the hungries/munchies. I consciously upped my intake on almost everything and added a moderate amount of PB and more nuts, running my calories over 1400. Perhaps not ideal, but better than ignoring that hunger and ending up buried in a PB jar with calories over 2200.
149.0 lb Lost so far: 86.0 lb.    Still to go: 4.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sandy - 149! I almost missed it!!! Your strategy for taking care of your hunger is wise. Besides, our joints need a little nut oil to lubricate them from time to time.

Hope your week-end has been amazing and that you are able to lose with the few extra calories. It's tough to live so restricted.
