Lost another 3# this week. Had a couple of days last week where I increased my carb count to much. Still under 30 carbs a day, but I think that's too much right now. I was wandering around "searching" for something to munch on before I realized what was happening. I didn't snack on anything not allowed, but it made me realize that things were not right. Sure enough my ketone test strip had lost almost all it's color. Today I was back to the beginning all day with some extra veggies for dinner to keep from getting hungry before bedtime. I'm not a nighttime eater, so eating before bedtime usually doesn't appeal to me. Since I started this diet, I have been known to grab an ounce of cheese. Seems to do the trick. Anyway, 1 day back on induction & the ketone strip is back to a darker color tonight. I have to be very careful to do as Dr Atkins suggested in the book to add only 5 extra carbs a day for a week at a time. Hard to do when everything I like has more than 5 carbs! Little by little!
