Hey there Angel, My weight loss has also significantly slowed down, my trainer has advised me to increase my daily calorie and carb intake by 20-25% for 7 days straight (while still going to the gym every day) and then after those 7 days return to my normal clean low cal, low carb diet. The purpose is to give your lazy metabolism a wake-up call!

Thank you. My current diet is actually pretty high carbs. Most of my diet is raw fruits and vegetables with a small amount of animal protein (usually chicken, occasionally pork) for added nutritional benefit. I am starting an exercise routine in the hope that will help. Had a difficult few years with a back injury and I have had a migraine for over a year that the doctors cant control. I did try to increase my intake to 1700 calories for a couple of weeks with no help....I am back down to 1100 calories, and am hoping that and the exercise will help (and not make the medical issues worse)

Just be mindful of your spine! keep your core tight and your back straight at all times and you should be fine. Looking down/touching your chin to your chest during exersize can actually lead to head pain because of the stress on your back. The first time I went heavy on the leg press I was looking down and it caused a terrible headache for 2 days!

A walking plan might help. It's not too strenuous and burns calories. You might also consult your doctor to see what kind of exercise he/she recommends. Swimming might also be an option.

Thank you. I am being careful and for the most part being gentle with my body....we will see if it helps.
