today I am going to change what I am doing. I have been averaging 500 calories a day but it isn't working. I lost 5 pounds right away but nothing since. After 2 weeks of no results I am very frustrated I am going to try cutting our the carbs to but add a few calories bringing it to 700 calories and 25 carbs. What I have been doing has done nothing but make me depressed and cranky and so I just want to lay in bed which just makes it worse. :-( So instead of giving up I am going to try something different wish me luck.

You're taking in too few calories. Your body has entered into a starvation mode where everything you consume will be converted to fat. Your metabolism is then slowing down to match the intake and you remain at the same weight until your body finishes converting available muscle to fat then begins to break down the fat. It's an unpleasant experience. What's your recommended intake? Stay at that number for a week and reweigh/measure yourself. If you need to cut back, start at about 100 calorie increments and go another week. Aim to lose two to three pounds a week. It's not easy, but it's doable. Don't shut your body down trying to lose weight though.

Good luck hope it works for you. The 25 carbs sounds about right but 700 cal. is very low. I am doing about 12 to 1500 cal and 25-30 carbs and still loosing.

You should seek eating disorder treatment. It sounds like you are on the road to a very dangerous place and you should get help before it gets too out of control.
