It turns out the gym manager may actually know what he's talking about. Maybe its that degree in physical therapy or the fact that he manages or gym.. or maybe it's the fact that he's in shape. Who would have thunk it! I have a 3 day program that is suppose to go upper/lower/cardio. If I can add cardio to the days I lift then great since one of my goals is to lose some of this fluffy stuff. I thought well hey I have some extra time. I did arms yesterday.. I'll do legs! Rest is a waste of time!

Hahahahahaha I got about half way through the workout then discovered I couldn't do a walking lung. My legs just weren't going to bend that way and support my weight. I struggled with the deadlifts.. I could do planks though! Oops. Ok maybe beginners do need 2 days in between lifting to recover. Soooo... tomorrow is cardio! Then arms.. lol

I think when I get this mastered or when it gets a little old I'm going to switch things up with the workouts I found online. This ones for you Thynes! http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/womens-strength-training-guide.htm It shows the workouts and if you can't do a chinup or a pullup they have suggestions for alternatives until you can do a chinup or a pullup. Lord knows I can't. Maybe if I didn't have so much fluffy stuff I could.. hmmmmm cardio is looking better and better.

In other non-fitnessy news. In the middle of writing this post I discovered two things thanks to my daughter. 1. Kitten (aka the girl that calls herself by husbands daughter even through they aren't related and treats him like crap then expects him to give her whatever she wants) was at the house today where she took the gas can that we use for well.. everything in the barn, was in the house talking to hubby although he claims he doesn't talk to her, and he got her a job at the bowling alley. 2. Hubby loaned her money. I got this nice little tidbit because she told my daughter directly knowing it would get back to me. Honestly if I wasn't on my fitnessy high I would probably be so furious I wouldn't be able to function. I don't want this homewrecking, lie spreading, skanky, slutty, parasite, who tried to breakup my marriage anywhere near me, my home, or my family. I don't think I've ever hated anyone before in my entire life before meeting this person. Honestly I know hating someone isn't healthy, she isn't worth my energy it takes to hate her, I'm disappointed in hubby for doing things he knows upsets me, I expect him to lie to me about it or hide it... I think that last bit is the saddest part. How do you keep someone in your life who tried to break up your marriage, hates your kids, is just plain nasty to you, and expects you to drop everything for them at their whim? Just... no. For the longest time he was trying to tell me what a good person she is. She isn't. I haven't seen a single thing about her that is even likeable. She talks like a sailor, lies, steals, will sleep with anyone who gives her things, treats her kids badly, would rather live off the government than work and manipulates whoever she can. What is so great about that?

I'm just kind of giving up a little at this point. I don't want him to lie to me if I confront him about giving her money. I don't want her in my home but he apparently does. I really don't want to even go home because if he does mention her depending on what he says and knowing what I already know it will turn into something. He's a big boy he can do chores on his own. The sad part is I don't know what I will do instead. Maybe I will pick up the kids and go shopping for a new sports bra.


YES! Retail Therapy. It's the answer today. You need to get one of the new, non-uniboob ones. It will help you enjoy your workouts more. :) Stay strong. We are all here for you.

You need those rest days!! Make sure not to overdo it, because if you're injured there will be no gym at all, and that would be bad. As for your hubby, I think going shopping and letting some time pass might be best. You'll still be mad, but maybe getting that new sports bra will at least ease it a little. Good luck!!

love bodybuilding.com. great stuff. Kitten sounds like a mess. Don't you kind of feel sorry for people like that? Remember to think about her before your next lift, inhale deep and lift! Stay strong indeed. Sometimes stuff just sucks.
